Accurate angle measurement and correction are essential for precision sheet metal fabrication, especially during the bending process. The IRIS Plus is a cutting-edge system that is specifically designed for the most challenging applications in this field. This advanced device comes equipped with a laser transmitter and receiver set, which is mounted to the upper beam of a press brake. Moreover, the IRIS Plus boasts a high-speed digital camera and an image data processing system contained within the receiver unit. These components work in tandem in real-time to ensure the measurement of bending angles is accurate, and any necessary automatic correction is executed promptly.


Different dies can be combined with various V-openings, which range from 8 mm to 35 mm.

In partnership with Data-M Engineering, the iMeasure Laser angle measurement system offers precise bend angle measurement after a single bending operation. These fully-automatic laser-assisted systems are tailored for use with CNC press brakes. With the LaserCheck feature, they can accurately determine the bending angle with better than 0.1° accuracy, regardless of the material’s properties or thickness. This level of precision was previously unavailable in the industry.
